This lovely spring woodland plant holds loose clusters of small pink to purple flowers and grows 1'-2' tall. The deeply cut foliage is lush and creates full clumps. It does well in partial shade to full sun in dry to moist soils. Blooming time is late spring to early summer.

A native plant that can be found in dry to mesic areas of prairies, fields and open woodlands. These prickly shrubs grow to 2' tall and hold pink flowers with yellow stamens. Grows in partial shade to full sun.
